How can I purchase Chilmark Beach Parking Stickers?
Starting in 2016, Chilmark beach parking stickers may be purchased online at At this web site, you may purchase beach parking stickers for Lucy Vincent Beach and Squibnocket Beach, as well as walk-on passes for both beaches. You can pay for your passes with a VISA, MasterCard, or Discover credit or debit card. You may also purchase Chilmark beach parking stickers at the Town Hall. The Town Hall summer hours are seven days a week, 9:00 am to 12:00 pm.
What is the process to get the beach parking stickers online?
Once you have completed and submitted the sticker application, you will receive an email notification of your order. Upon verification of your information, you will receive an email that your order has been successfully processed and mailed. Usually stickers will be mailed within 2-3 days of receipt of your application. If there are any questions regarding your information, we will contact you.

Why do I have to Pay a Service/Convenience Fee when Ordering Online?
There is a non-refundable service/convenience fee of 2.95% (with a $1.00 minimum) of the total amount charged for use of the website. The service/convenience fee covers the costs of the credit card charges.
Do I need a sticker or walk-on pass for Menemsha Beach?
No, Menemsha Beach is open to the public.
Where do I place my beach parking sticker on my car?
To park a car at either Squibnocket beach or Lucy Vincent beach, a valid beach Sticker for that beach must be affixed to the inside of your rear passenger window so that it can be easily viewed by the gate guard. While parked the sticker must be visible. Stickers taped to a window are not valid.
What do I do if I need a replacement sticker?
Replacement stickers can be obtained at Town Hall. There is a charge for replacement stickers. The old sticker must be scraped off and brought into the Town Hall, if able. There will be a charge of $20.
What are the Lucy Vincent Beach hours?
The beach is open 9:00 AM - 7:00 PM.
What are Squibnocket Beach hours?
The beach is open 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM.
Can I use one sticker at both beaches?
No, each beach has its own separate sticker. In order to park at either beach, a vehicle must have an applicable sticker.
What are the Walk-on Pass requirements?
To Walk-on to either Squibnocket or Lucy Vincent beach, a valid Walk-on pass for that beach is required for all Chilmark residents, their guests and tenants if they come by foot, on a bicycle or on a motorcycle.
Who does the Walk-on Pass include?
A Walk-on pass includes the pass holder, two adults, children under 12, motorcycles and bicycles. Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.
How many Walk-on Passes can a household purchase?
There is a maximum of four (4) Walk-on passes per household.
Can a Walk-on pass be used for automobile parking?
A Walk-on pass cannot be used for automobile parking.
Can Stickers be transferred?
Season stickers may be transferred between vehicles with Town Hall approval. The transfer fee is $20.
What if I am a tennant?
Tenants may purchase parking stickers online. Please provide support of your rental period, such as a rental agreement. Two cars from the same house cannot park at the beach on the same day. Homeowners must turn in their sticker to Town Hall for a tenant to be able to have a new sticker.
